Beneficiaries of Old-Age and Disability Pension are Required to Provide the Proof of Life in January 2018

The Social Security Fund (abbreviated to “FSS” in Macao) reminds members of the public that beneficiaries currently receiving old-age or disability pension from the Social Security Fund are required to provide the proof of life in January each year and 106,000 people will be involved for the year 2018. Beneficiaries who have registered to receive SMS alerts will receive the relevant SMS notification, and unregistered beneficiaries may also register for the service when they provide the proof of life in person.

Beginning on 2nd January, 106,000 beneficiaries of old-age and disability pension can also provide the proof of life via self-service machines located at 43 locations in Macao using their valid Macao SAR Resident ID Cards. If a beneficiary is also the beneficiary of Social Welfare Bureau and/or Pension Fund, he/she can provide the proof of life for the three departments at one time through the self-service machine.

Beneficiaries can also bring along their valid Macao SAR Resident ID Cards to provide the proof of life in person at the following locations (seeAnnexe 1 for details) during office hours of January:
